In addition to being used to protect electronics (which it does very well, as many other reviewers note), I wanted to mention this also makes an ideal case for a survival kit that can be stored in a car, or put into checked luggage when traveling on extended trips. It can house a multi-tool, small flashlight, emergency whistle, matches, string saw, and other assorted items that would be invaluable in an emergency situation. It is sturdy, waterproof, and attaches easily to a daypack for use out and about. Highly recommended.

I am using this as a camera case for my Canon PowerShot SX230HS and it couldn't fit more perfectly. It is very durable and east to open and close. I take it with me in my kayak on a regular basis and I have never been worried about water getting to the camera or it getting crushed in my gear.
