I bought this hamper for my 4 year old son about four months ago and it's been great so far. It's spacious, lightweight, and sturdy. It even seems roomy enough for my son to continue to use it for years to come. The lid works well and actually stays closed when we shut it. It has velcro to keep it closed, but we usually don't even use it because it stays shut without it. My son loves the design and was so excited to put it in his room when it came. I also like the design because he can use it for many years it without it becoming "babyish". I like this so much that I'm looking to purchase one for my other son.

All-Clad 5402 Review by M. Lucky (New York, NY)

I really like the weight of this product, it is heavy but not overly so, and well balanced on the range. I believe All Clad is still made in the US (or at least this product is) which I appreciate. I have a lot of All Clad pans, I have never been disappointed with them. They are more costly than most pans, but I will probably have them for life.


All-Clad 5402 Review by Carmen (New York, NY)

I own both All Clad and Calphalon One. I know there are a lot of All Clad vs. Calphalon One discussions/debates. My personal experience is both are really good and you can't go wrong with any one of them. I am not a professional cook - so it's purely a point of view from a person who wants to learn more in cooking.

A few points:
1. Clean-up - I think Calphalon One is easier to clean, just soak it in hot sudsy water for 15-30 mins and the remains will fall off. Even I didn't make a mess, I need to clean my All Clad with Bar Keeper's Friend (BKF). I use BKF on my Calphalon One only when the mess is really bad.
2. Time to heat up - For some reason, my All Clad pan heats up quicker than my Calphalon One pan. But the time difference is very small.
3. Level of "stickiness" - To me, changing from non-stick to stainless steel and hard anodized aluminum is smooth and easy. As long as you follow instructions, sunny-side-up eggs do not stick on both brands. I have yet to try scrambled eggs (I think I shouldn't try, but I am really curious)...
4. Handle - I read that some people have problems with All Clad handles. To me, no problem at all! Maybe I am used to holding the pan back-handed and the All Clad handle just fits nicely. Calphalon One handle is also great - haven't heard any complaints at all.
5. Aesthetic issue - Since this line of All Clad is stainless steel (very shiny), it will show its normal wear and tear easier when compared to Calphalon One, which has a much darker color & non-shiny surface. Just look at your stainless steel kettle and you may get what I mean - It's just very hard to avoid those normal wear and tear and it shows because the surface is shiny. I only use wooden utensils and no steel wool nor abrasive cleansers! Of course, those normal wear and tear will not affect the quality of the cookware.

Conclusion: You can't go wrong with any one of them. The price difference, in general, is very small between the 2 lines. Personally, I prefer Calphalon One since it's much easier to clean and it doesn't show normal wear and tear easily (relative to All Clad stainless steel). And I don't mind waiting for just a little bit longer for the pan to heat up.

Hope this helps someone in making purchase decisions!

Added on June 15, 2009: After 3 years, I sold all my Calphalon One and got everything in All Clad, particularly the LTD line. The LTD line has a dark finish, so it doesn't really show normal wear and tear easily.

In fact, both pans are of quality, however, my Calphalon One for some reason got some stains that I am unable to remove, even with Bar Keepers' Friend. Also, Williams Sonoma discontinued selling Calphalon One - Nonstick version this April and the anodized version with the steel cover about 1-2 years ago.

This is a great pan. The size is great when cooking for two. I use it to make sauces and gravies, cook vegetables and to saute when I don't need to use a larger pan. I highly recommend All-Clad for all your cooking needs. The prices are higher than others, but well worth the investment. If you love to cook, you'll love All-Clad.

I was surprised how cheap this processor was. I bought it for my build up computer and saw the specifications and liked it. When i got it in the mail it came with the CPU cooler (which it doesn't mention in the product specifications and could have saved me the time with another CPU cooler but thats besides the point). When i was done with my computer build up, it was a nice start up. What annoys me a bit is that sometimes it takes a bit of time to start up any program and there tends to be a lag. I'm not sure exactly if its the CPU, the RAM (4GB installed) or the video card (1GB Radeon video card). Other then that I'm happy with the purchase and the price of the product.

I installed this processor on my mo board and works great and the cooling fan keeps it cool. The processor works good on XP, vista and win 7 and even on 2000. Have not over clocked it realy dont need to works just fine at normal settings. I recomend this one. price is reasonable

The processor works fine but the supplied fan and headsink are substandard. The heatsink looks too small but seems to cool OK, the problem is with the mounting hardware that consists of 4 plastic pins that are pressed down into holes and latch in the motherboard without a backing plate. When the pins are pressed into place they tend to bend the board which might cause it to fail over time if some of the pins in the processor socket come unsoldered or the connections break loose. I ended up having to make a backing plate out of aluminum and mount the heatsink to it with screws and spacers to keep the board from bending excessively.

This is a seriously good quality seat. It's sturdy, comfortable, and well built. It seems like it will last forever. It is every thing a car seat should be, except easy to clean.
My daughter gets carsick. Often. You know the frustration of pulling a new toy out of the box and having to put it together with cryptic directions? Every time something is spilled, or your child pukes, you will be forced to take the entire seat apart in order to wash it, and then put it all back together. After the third or fourth time, you start to get good at it, and the process only takes a half hour or so...not counting the time spent with the cover in the washer, which they don't recommend. I wash it on the delicate setting, and it comes out fine.
To further explain why this is so frustrating and difficult, let me elaborate. The seat cover and fittings are well designed to fit snugly. Parts only go into proper location in one way, and that way usually requires very small, but strong hands. I have large strong hands. My wife has medium sized, strong hands. Consequently, the holes that the buckles are supposed to go through have been "stretched" (ripped). Another point: when mess works it's way downward, as gravity tends to direct it, it finds several holes in the cover and gets embedded in the hinge contraption. This is very difficult to clean. Again, you have to take the entire cover off, which requires a complete disassembly of the buckles. Also, the cover is held on partly by velcro, partly by hooks, partly by snaps, and partly by pins. The pins will break. But that's ok, you won't care because you will be so frustrated by the damn thing. (Remember, you are trying to take it all apart while it's covered in this morning's breakfast. The smell is getting to you.) If you really love your wife, you will volunteer to clean the seat and let her take the baby, because a crying, screaming, squirming, puke covered baby is infinitely easier to deal with.

we bought this for daughter number 5. i just got fed up with those infant carrier/seats that would "rebound" in a rear impact. this and the britax are the only seats with a tether that is useable in the rear facing position. this seat is awesome. it has really plush high quality fabric/padding. it sits low so toddlers and bigger kids can get into it easily (unlike the graco nautilus seats we have). the only problem is that even on the smallest snuggest settings, the harness straps are not quite tight enough on our 9 pound baby. she is getting bigger fast, and we rarely leave home, so it isn't a huge issue. just beware that there is no way this seat will safely work for small infants in spite of its labeling for 5-65 pounds.

I was a little leery of this one because of the people that said they had a tough time filling theirs. But I filled mine easily and it works AWESOME!

I mostly use it to brown the top of Blu-cheese on top of Rib-eye steaks. I tried doing it under the broiler - but it never worked well. Now I hit it with the torch for just a few seconds and presto! Perfectly melted!

Love what you can do with the blow torch. I didn't see any change in the window, when I filled the butan in, so I thought it didn't work. But when I tried, the torch lit up, which it didn't before. So maybe it is me being unfamiliar wih the process or whatever.
Only complaint I have: product came with a really deep scratch. It is fully functional, but if I wouldn't have needed it for a dinner, I would have probably sent it back to be replaced. At a 40$ price, I expect not to see anything like a scratch on the metal.

I bought it since it is rated over 4 stars here, but found I was so wrong, I doubt who were posting here, very misleading.
It looked solid except the igniter and the safe lock were very loose and small pieces of plastic, they wouldn't last long for sure. I bought 2 butane fuels and tried it, so bad I could hear the gas leaking while I was pumping, only very small percentage of fuel(For sure less than 5%) was pumped in here. The worst thing was, it kept leaking, a few minutes after, it became empty! I tried the second fuel on, a tiny flame lasted for a half minute! What a joke it was!
I was very angry and ordered a replacement on Saturday. To my surprise, a box arrived on the next Monday morning in my office. I was shocked by the high efficiency of Amazon, before I got a chance to check the box. Both the shipping box and the product box were squeezed so badly and almost broken, the product box was open, obviously it was a returned bad product, Amazon did not check the content, just taped it and threw it to me again. I did not even bother trying it this time, returned it for a refund immediately.
For those who want to have a good and durable torch, I suggest you to buy a Lenox LT-9x, it is solid and durable, comes with 3 year warranty. You don't spend time pumping fuel, just install it on a propane cylinder will do. When you don't need it, remove the torch head you are safe.
